GETTING TO STOCKHOLM UNIVERSITY

There are a number of airports in the wider Stockholm area as well as extensive rail, bus and tram networks. Communications to Stockholm University are very good making it easy to get to the campus called Frescati.

By air

There are a number of airports in the wider Stockholm area, including Arlanda (the largest airport), Skavsta, and Bromma.

There are regular coach services between the airports and Stockholm central station. More information and prices are available from the bus company websites, including www.swebus.se and www.flygbussarna.se.

There is also a fast train service called Arlanda Express, which runs between Arlanda and the central station in Stockholm. More information and prices are available on the Arlanda Express website: www.arlandaexpress.com

The local travel service in Stockholm, SL, also runs travel services to and from some of the airports. Check www.sl.se for more information.

Taxis are generally available outside of the airport building, or they can be booked in advance. 

By public transport

Underground trains:

You can travel by the metro (underground/tube) from the central station in Stockholm (T-centralen). Take the red line northbound to Mörby Centrum and get off at the station ‘Universitetet’. The journey takes about 10 minutes. 

Buses:

A number of buses stop at the University, for example bus 50, 540, 608 and 670. Tickets must be bought before travel. 

Tickets for public transport can be bought from newsagents (e.g. Pressbyrån) as well as from SL (Stockholms lokaltrafik) ticket offices. See SL’s travel page for more information www.sl.se.

 CONFERENCE FEES

The conference fees include entry to the conference, lunch and coffee on 30 June and 1 July.

Please observe that we need to have received your registration (and payment) by 15 May at the latest if you want to attend the reception.
